I just recently had the chance to watch “The Art of Getting By” and I can’t explain enough how amazing this movie is. I can relate to the main character, George, so much in the belief that the majority of aspects in our lives are nothing but mere illusions; we are born alone and we die alone. Not only that but also the patterns in our “depression” and the thoughts that develop, evolve, and progress in our mind.
I definitely recommend it to everyone. It’s more than just a movie about a lonely kid in high school facing multiple obstacles simultaneously, it also consists of art appreciation and acknowledging the act of love and life.
